DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an ambitious, self-directed Senior Associate who is resourceful, thoughtful, and has excellent problem-solving and organizational skills. The right candidate is excited to actively engage in the day-to-day business of KM; this is a demanding and dynamic role that requires exceptional multitasking abilities, excellent communication skills, and a high level of discretion and emotional intelligence. The Senior Associate will report directly to the Vice President and will be a key point of contact at KM and play a vital role in ensuring smooth communication and coordination across the organization and with external partners.

At KM You Will:

  • Be the primary point of contact for the VP and manage her schedule, calendar, and appointments.
  • Coordinate and prioritize meetings, conferences, and events, ensuring all logistics are arranged efficiently.
  • Research, plan, and organize domestic and international travel itineraries, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and visas.
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents on behalf of the executive.
  • Conduct research, collect data, and prepare reports or briefs to support decision-making processes.
  • Screen and handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, providing accurate and timely responses or redirecting them as appropriate.
  • Prepare and process expense reports, invoices, and other financial documents.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
  • Proactively identify ways to improve efficiency and organization of the VP. 

REQUIREMENTS 

What we're looking for:

  • B.A. or B.S. with a strong academic record.
  • 2+ years of professional experience, preferably as an executive assistant or otherwise in a high-profile or executive environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to draft professional and accurate correspondence.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft 365, specifically Office suite, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Kind, high-integrity individual who understands the importance of privacy and demonstrates extreme professionalism, good judgment, and discretion.
  • Proactive mindset, anticipating needs and taking initiative to ensure smooth operations.
  • Self-directed and independent worker who can manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ideally this if a full-time position, although part-time availability will be considered (at least 20 hours per week). Assistant must be based in the greater New Orleans metro area.
  • Location is hybrid, 50/50 in-person/remote.
  • Salary Range (Full-time): $50,000-$60,000 depending on qualifications and experience.

  • Salary Range (Full-time): $50,000-$60,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
